Vox Populi moves to 990 Spring Garden after fire
990 Spring Garden St. comes as refuge for Vox Populi, home to many artists, after a massive fire took place in their previous location. Vox Populi will be inhabiting two large spaces in 990 Spring Garden St. from July-August of 2017. These spaces will be home to all of its exhibitions, performances, and special events, that otherwise were in danger of being canceled or postponed for an indefinite amount of time. Vox Populi’s main exhibit that opens on July 14th is titled “Vox XIII: Are ‘Friends’ Electric?”. This will be Vox Populi’s thirteenth annual juried exhibition, which features fifteen contemporary artists. The exhibit takes you on an investigation of various types of alienation. You can learn more about the exhibition here or come and experience it yourself in a week!
