The Rail Park Goes Green

The Rail Park is looking more like a park after hundreds of volunteers led by Center City District planted trees and greenery along the Phase 1 path. Eccentric event producers Atlas Obscura held a spooky "Friday the 13th" themed party in appreciation for the volunteers that came out that day.  Everyone's eyes are The Rail Park which is set to OPEN AHEAD OF SCHEDULE since last winter was so mild and crews were able to work through what is usually their off season. Furniture and fixtures are now being installed as well as stair cases along the 12th Street overpass.Stay tuned for the opening date to be announced soon!
