Cool Project Alert: Chinatown Beats

Love sharing cool projects as we hear about them and this one is especially neat!This project was produced by Rachel Ishikawa as a part of Asian Arts Initiative's Social Practice Lab Residency 2016 - 2017. Rachel recorded sound bytes heard throughout the neighborhood and created an online platform to compose beats using the hustle and bustle heard on the street.Make your own beats and submit them on the site for others to listen, if added before October 7th you could win an audio field recorder starter kit!
