Spring Arts PHL Exhibition Opening

This Saturday October 8th is a big day for Spring Arts. The Asian Arts Initiative is hosting the Pearl Street Block Party, an art exhibition at 990 Spring Garden opens and an experiential art show will be held as part of Design Philadelphia. #muralartsmonth starts out with a bang this year!

"Buttonwood" by Ryan Beck is the third installation in the Spring Arts revolving mural gallery.

As per the Mural Arts website: "The Spring Arts District, a collaboration with Arts + Crafts Holdings, is Mural Arts’ first rotating gallery, located in the post-industrial Callowhill North Neighborhood. The inaugural participating artists making murals in the district—Kid Hazo, Ryan Beck, Miriam Singer, Andrew Jeffrey Wright, Hawk Krall, and Martha Rich—will be featured in this special exhibition that highlights their creative portfolios."

Just before the exhibition opens, Conrad Benner of Streets Dept is hosting a walking tour of the murals in the neighborhood. You can buy tickets for this first look opportunity here!
