Wonders of Wax Workshop

Decorate your Holiday table with all-natural candles you crafted from hand. On November 17th, we’re partnering with Alveole and Arts + Crafts Holdings to bring a Wonders of Beeswax candle making workshop to The Viaduct in Spring Arts in Callowhill (10th + Hamilton Street).

The hour-long workshop will guide guests through creating their own hand-dipped beeswax candles that they can take home. The taper candles make a perfect addition to any Thanksgiving table.

Honey bees are famous for their sweet honey, but there are more products from the hive to discover! We invite you to come learn and experience the wonders of beeswax in a hands-on way. Guided by a beekeeper, you’re sure to learn something new by participating in the centuries-old process of creating hand-crafted beeswax candles and learning the rich history of beeswax.

Arts and Crafts Holdings has partnered with Alveole to host beehives on the roof of 990, 448, and 915 Spring Garden! They are collaborating with businesses in Spring Arts contributing honey to brew beers, cook up BBQ sauce and other creative ways to incorporate the sweet stuff. You can follow along with their work on Instagram @stingarts.

Your $30 ticket includes lite bites and two complimentary glasses of wine, along with the candles that guests will get to Make and Take home with them. We hope to see you there!

Please note this is an outdoor venue where we are limiting the number of guests to allow for ample space between groups. As always, bring your mask, wash your hands, and keep your distance. This safe & private event will comply with the latest COVID-19 updates.

* Free parking is available across the street on Hamilton Street.
